Folding, rolling and bending

We shape the sheet metal and tubing to the exact dimensions required for each part. Speed, precision and over 20 years’ experience are our hallmarks.

Metal forming processes

Folding, rolling and bending are key steps in the manufacture of metal structures: they give sheet metal and tubing their exact shape prior to assembly and welding. We adjust the radius, angle and number of passes according to the thickness and alloy of the material, to prevent marks or cracks at the fold.

Folding machines, rolling and bending

Our bending machines are equipped with an extensive range of tooling to carry out the most varied, complex and precise types of bending, whilst working quickly.

This ensures the utmost satisfaction for our most demanding customers, as we provide them with bespoke solutions, and it enables us to significantly shorten the manufacturing process and maximise the profitability of mass-production runs.

We should also highlight our more than 20 years’ experience in this field.

We have a four-roller automatic bending machine with numerical control, in which the ends are set to the desired radius thanks to the initial pre-bending, and with which we manufacture all types of cylindrical and conical parts.

Our bending machines are equipped to bend tubes of various types and sizes, with different radii and bending angles.

Quality control on every part

01

Checking angles and radii

We check the angle and the radius before accepting the part.

02

Crack inspection

Visual inspection of the part.

03

Evidence of approval

For large production runs, we validate an initial sample with the client before producing the rest.

Materials we fold and bend

Carbon steel

The most commonly used in structural and sheet metal work, with good performance in bending and rolling.

Stainless steel

We adjust the pressure and speed to prevent visible marks on polished parts.

Aluminium

It requires larger fillet radii to prevent cracking, due to its lower cold ductility.

Copper

Manufactured using pressure control to prevent cracks, a common practice in decorative and functional pieces.

Brass

Folding and bending with radii tailored to its hardness, for fittings and finishing elements.

Frequently asked questions about folding and bending

With our bespoke tooling, we can produce bends ranging from very tight angles to wide radii, depending on the thickness and material.

Yes, our tube benders can handle different types and sizes of tube, with various radii and bending angles.

Yes, the automatic 4-roller cylinder with initial pre-bending allows cylindrical and conical parts to be produced with the desired radius right from the first section.

Yes, our bespoke jigs enable us to bend long sections whilst maintaining a straight line and a constant angle throughout the entire piece.

Yes, we adjust the pressure, radius and speed according to the material to prevent cracks or marks, particularly on aluminium and stainless steel.
